Famous Venice
This time the destination was the famous city of Venice in Italy. It is built on a group of 118 small islands that are separated by canals and linked by over 400 bridges. The islands are in the shallow Venetian Lagoon, an enclosed bay lying between the mouths of the Po and the Piave rivers.
RAW Development
It was the first time I went on a short vacation without the big camera. So this time only with the smartphone and namely with my new Google Pixel 7 Pro. I photographed in JPG + RAW, but in Lightroom I have developed the RAW images. With the results I am actually quite satisfied, although I missed very quickly the image quality and especially the flexibility of my large full-frame camera.

But Venice is and remains a fantastic city with incredibly many motifs for photographers! Once you’ve been there you will want to return there again as often as you can.
